A major sponsorship deal announced today will see Ipswich’s leading rugby league club compete as the Stockland Ipswich Jets when they run out for their 2013 campaign.
Stockland, one of Australia’s largest property groups, will partner all grades of the Stockland Ipswich Jets. Stockland’s logo will feature prominently on the Stockland Ipswich Jets’ jerseys.
The Stockland Ipswich Jets recently announced an exciting partnership with the Brisbane Broncos establishing a direct pathway for juniors to the NRL.

Stockland has two fast-growing communities in Ipswich – Sovereign Pocket, at Deebing Heights, and Augustine Heights. Both are located within an easy drive of the Ipswich CBD.
Stockland Regional Manager, Michael Stone, said he looked forward to watching the Stockland Ipswich Jets push on from making the finals of 2012’s Intrust Super Cup.

In 2013 the Stockland Ipswich Jets senior players will compete in the Intrust Super Cup while grade teams will play in the Fogs Cup and the Fogs Colts competitions.
The CEO of the Stockland Ipswich Jets, Wayne Wendt, said that Stockland had also partnered with Ipswich Junior Rugby League to create pathways for local young players.
“I’d like to thank Stockland for the commitment they have demonstrated to the Stockland Ipswich Jets and to the city of Ipswich,” Mr Wendt said.
“This is an outstanding day for the Stockland Ipswich Jets. We are an ambitious club and with Stockland’s support we can build on our position at the heart of rugby league in Queensland.
“This agreement means the Stockland Ipswich Jets can look forward to 2013 with confidence. All our teams, from Colts to the Intrust Super Cup side, are excited about the season ahead,” he said.
