The North Ipswich Reserve will play host to some of the best junior rugby league players from South East Queensland this Saturday afternoon.
With the 2013 Mal Meninga and Cyril Connell Cup competitions just two weeks away, Ipswich will host the Gold Coast (both Green & White) and Toowoomba in a double header afternoon as all four teams finalise preparations for the 2013 season.
Along with the four Mal Meninga & Cyril Connell Cup games the Ipswich Jets FOGS Colts team will take on traditional rivals Toowoomba in their first hit out for 2013.
The fixtures will be the first time the newly laid North Ipswich Reserve turf will be used this year.
All fixtures should be extremely entertaining with so many stars of the future at the one venue.
It will also be the first of three weekends where the Ipswich Jets, Mal Meninga & Cyril Connell Cup teams will co-host games in 2013 giving the Ipswich players the opportunity to see the pathways available in Ipswich. These pathways have been strengthened with the area's new ties with the Brisbane Broncos.
