Coaching Courses & Accreditation Process

Recognised accreditation has become a basic pre-requisite for aspiring coaches, and the Australian Rugby League, together with Queensland Rugby League, have a range of courses to suit participants at a variety of levels.

Compulsory Accreditation
Queensland Rugby League has a compulsory accreditation policy where coaches MUST have completed an approved ARL coaching accreditation course if they are appointed to a coaching position.

Accredited Courses
Coaching as well as First Aid, CPR, Leaguesafe and Strapping corses are completed via the QRL's Education & Development Department. Contact the staff member in your area for further details.
