The annual QRL Conference offers participants the opportunity to learn about the latest developments in rugby league and provides club and local league administrators, coaches and volunteers with cutting-edge lectures, workshops, sport education material and important resources.

The 2013 Conference was held from February 15-17 on the Sunshine Coast at the Novotel’s Twin Waters Resort.

2013 Trade Show Report

THE annual QRL Conference & Trade Show brought more than 300 volunteers and administrators together on the Sunshine Coast.

While delegates welcomed the opportunity to hear from some of rugby league’s biggest names and specialist presenters, they also enjoyed the chance to learn more about the products and services that were displayed by friendly staff in the Trade Show room.

QRL Chairman Peter Betros and Commercial Manager Troy Morton officially opened the Trade Show on the Friday night.

Delegates and guests flowed through the Trade Show room for the duration of the weekend’s Conference.

The 11 companies and organisations involved in the Trade Show are all huge supporters of grassroots rugby league and this event, few more so than Light Magic Electronics and Hart Sports.

Both companies have been represented at every Conference since the concept began.

Last weekend’s event also saw representatives from XXXX, KooGa, Canterbury and Fountain Line Marking in attendance for the first time.

The QRL has received positive feedback following the Trade Show, and encourages club and association delegates to support the companies who displayed their passion for the game at Twin Waters last weekend.
