Biography

Moeaki Fotuaika was born in New Zealand and moved to Brisbane with his family at the age of seven. Fotuaika played his junior rugby league with Greenbank Raiders and attended Keebra Park High.

Fotuaika played for Souths Magpies in the Cyril Connell Cup and Mal Meninga Cup, and helped Keebra Park to the national final of the then GIO Schoolboys Cup in 2016, with Sydney's Westfield Sports High winning a gripping match 26-24. Fotuaika played for Gold Coast Titans in the National Youth Competition in 2017, and represented the Junior Kiwis against the Junior Kangaroos.

He's built for Origin.

Petero Civoniceva FOG #120

The powerful forward made his NRL debut in Round 9, 2018 after starting the season with Tweed Heads Seagulls, and played 16 NRL games in his rookie season.

In 2019, Fotuaika won the Paul Broughton Medal as Titans ‘Player of The Year', the youngest player to win the award in the club's history. Fotuaika made 18 appearances for the Titans in 2020 and averaged 145 metres and 36 tackles per game.

It was this form which saw him selected in the Maroons' squad for the end-of-year, 2020 State of Origin series. He made his debut off the bench in Game II in Sydney, and then played all three games of the 2021 series.

In August, 2021, he signed with the Titans until the end of the 2024 season.
