TEN lucky XXXX customers and their mates got the opportunity of a lifetime last week – and got to take part in their own special State of Origin event.
The 10 winners of the “Meet the Players” experience each brought along a friend and undertook a guided tour of the home of rugby league in Queensland – Suncorp Stadium – going behind the scenes to see the dressing rooms, tunnel and the field.
After the tour, the winners headed up to the Caxton Hotel to enjoy lunch with the players – as well as grabbing a few photos and autographs.
As part of the tour, the Queensland squad members from the Brisbane Broncos and Canberra Raiders NRL teams (Sam Thaiday, Justin Hodges, Matt Gillett, Corey Parker and Anthony Milford) shared their own State of Origin experiences and provided an insight into what it’s like to a XXXX Queensland Maroon on State of Origin night.
