Miriam Vale won on forfeit and Avondale took care of Agnes at the Marlins home ground winning 60-18.

July 27 at Avondale

In the first game neighbours Agnes Water took on Miriam Vale with the Pies running in eight tries to four. Once again Agnes could only field a 13 man squad and Miriam Vale had the use of a full bench making it easy to rotate the big men winning 42-22.

Avondale took on Gin Gin in the main game at the Tigers home ground with Gin Gin’s season back in tatters going down to the Tigers 50-10. With only two matches remaining before the semi-finals commence Gin Gin have a huge turnaround to their season if they are going to be contenders in the finals.

Avondale are hitting their straps at the right time of the season and looking good to defend their 2013 premiership.

Next week Gin Gin take on South Kolan and Miriam Vale play Avondale at Gary Larsen Oval at Miriam Vale.
