QUEENSLANDERS Annette Brander and Brittany Breayley are amongst six debutants to be named in the Jillaroos squad to face the Kiwi Ferns as part of the Four Nations next month.

Both players made their Queensland debuts this year and were part of the team that won their 16th consecutive Interstate Challenge title over New South Wales.

They will join fellow Queensland representatives including the experienced Steph Hancock, Heather Ballinger, Ali Brigginshaw and this year’s QRL Women’s Representative Player of the Year Renae Kunst.

In all, there are 12 team-mates from the victorious 2013 World Cup winning Jillaroos squad who will face their Trans-Tasman rivals New Zealand for the first time since winning their maiden international title.

The women’s Test match will be played as a curtain raiser to the NRL’s Four Nations tournament game between the Holden Kangaroos and Samoa at WIN Stadium Wollongong on Sunday, November 9.

The team captain to lead the Jillaroos for the match will be announced in the coming weeks.

The team will go into camp in Wollongong on November 3.

This game will be the first of a number of enticing clashes between the two nations over coming months – with the Jillaroos and Kiwi Ferns also scheduled to play as part of the NRL’s Auckland Nine’s tournament next year.
