Another busy year for the Queensland Rugby League is drawing to an end with the main offices to close for the Christmas break.

QRL Managing Director Rob Moore wished all Queenslanders a safe and happy festive season.

“On behalf of all the directors of the QRL, I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year,” Mr Moore said.

“I would also like to thank everyone for their support of the Queensland Rugby League this year, from the Maroons right down to the local leagues.

“Thanks especially to those who are involved in the game as a volunteer or a paid employee or simply as a fan.

“Your contribution – big or small – helps make our game great.

“Stay safe on your travels and enjoy your time with family and friends and we will see you again ready for season 2015.”

The Christmas closure dates for the main offices are listed below:

Queensland Rugby League Head Office Christmas closure dates

Close: Friday, December 19 – 4pm
Reopen: Monday, January 5 – 9am

Northern Division office Christmas closure dates

Close: Friday, December 19 – 4pm
Reopen: Monday, January 5 – 9am

*Division Manager Scott Nosworthy will return on January 19.

Central Division office Christmas closure dates

Close: Friday, December 19 – 4pm
Reopen: Monday, January 5 – 9am

South East Division office Christmas closure dates

Close: Friday, December 19 – 5pm
Reopen: Monday, January 12 – 9am
