Queensland Rugby League has today announced the XXXX Maroons team to play New South Wales in Game I of the Holden State of Origin series at Sydney’s ANZ Stadium on May 27.

As expected, selectors have stuck solid with the core group of players who have performed admirably over a long period of time in the Origin arena.

There is however an injection of new blood, with Aspley Devils junior and Brisbane Broncos forward Josh McGuire named to make his Origin debut.

Another rising forward and product of the Aspley Devils club, Sydney Rooster Dylan Napa, has been included in the squad in jersey number 18.
