Cooper Cronk has today been named to return from injury in Wednesday week’s Holden State of Origin series decider at Suncorp Stadium.

The Storm halfback replaces Daly Cherry-Evans, one of three Maroons who won’t be backing up from the Game 2 loss to the Blues at the MCG.

With Billy Slater and Josh McGuire unavailable due to injury, Queensland selectors have called on Dane Gagai and Josh Papalii for the July 8 blockbuster.

Exciting Canberra Raiders talent Edrick Lee will also join the senior Maroons squad for the first time.
