Emu Park 18 (Alex Lawton, Cayden Butcher 2 tries; Jaxon Fields, Cayden Butcher, Alex Lawton goals) def North's 6 (Nash Beak try; Keegan Burge goal)
In a very defensive game, both sides attacked each other’s line but no one was giving in. it took a kick from Emu Park in the 10th minute for the Emu’s to get over the line through Alex Lawton. The game again went back and forth and with three minutes left before half time Cayden Butcher scored again for Emu Park and they went into the sheds 12-0 up. North’s came back in the second half and reduced the margin when Nash Beak score a great try in the corner, but that would be the last time North’s scored in 2015 with a late try to Emu parks Cayden Butcher and a 18-6 win. Emus now take on Brothers Blue in the Grand Final

The Cubs would have been a little disappointed with last week’s game and they came out to prove they were ready to take on North’s again in next week’s decider. Cory Johns and Levi Bellette dominated from the start and the cubs went to the break 34-0 up. They continued that same form in the second half to take a big victory, Brothers did manage to get onto the score board with an excellent try to Khye Russell from a Peyton Jenkins kick. Cubs will take on North’s Knights in next week’s Grand Final.

There is a full day of Junior Rugby League action this weekend with a junior gala day starting at 8.30am. The gates opening at 8am with the two grand finals taking place at 1.30pm and 3pm.

Grand Final – Brothers Blue v Emu Park
These sides met two weeks ago when Brothers defeated Emu Park 28-12. Brothers will be very weary of the Emus especially Jaxon Fields, Alex Lawton and Cayden Butcher. Brothers will look to Kelly Shadlow to make metres up the middle and bring in Jaiden Green and Liam Barnes into play. This will be a great contest with both sides being the bench mark in the 2015 season.

Grand Final – North’s Knights v Gracemere Cubs
Gracemere made up for the disappointment of losing two weeks ago with a commanding performance on Saturday, they will need all the skills Levi Bellette and Cory Johns showed to help them take down this very good Knight’s side. Fullback Brayden Duffy was in fine form the last time these two sides met and he has warmed up for this with a 5 try haul in his school boy Grand Final, he will be assisted by Jordon Cox and our only female player in the Grand Final Taiah-Ann Ardley who has been outstanding for the Knights all year.
If both sides bring their attacking best we could see a lot of points scored in this game, way too close to call on this one.
