One of the Cup competition’s most exciting players returns to Tweed Heads next season, with electric back Shannon Walker signing on with the club for 2016.

Walker – who has spent the past few years playing Rugby Union Sevens – heads the list of returning Seagulls players, with 2014 halves combination Sam Irwin and Michael Burgess and 2013 prop Josh Coyle all coming home following stints in France.

Tweed Heads had a mixed season in 2015; but in the process blooded 15 debutants, with many of these young players set to make up the core of the squad in 2016.

As well as Colts players including Jacob Garland, Jarrod Morfett and David Sheridan making the transition to the Cup side; other youngsters to look out for are Gold Coast Titans NYC quartet Jackson Clarke (who joins his brother Dane at the club), Ben Mathiou, Tevita Folau and Anthony Colman.
