Maroons flanker Will Chambers has started off 2016 in good form scoring two tries against the Titans and Melbourne winning their first two games of the season.
The Storm centre is excited for the Melbourne's rising talents from the Intrust Super Cup; Young Tonumaipea and Curtis Scott, who have fitted into the squad well and playing great football so early in their NRL careers.
With the demoralising news that Billy Slater's shoulder injury will force him to the sideline once again, Chambers said it was disappointing for everyone else around the club as well.
"Bill is a big part of this club and has been for a long time and everyone has their fingers crossed for some good news over the next couple of days.
"Cameron Munster is going to fill in there, he did a good job last year but I guess he's going to have to step back up to the mark this year because he has some pretty big shoes to fill."
