Local rugby league fans are encouraged to drop by the Men of League Foundation marquees which will be set up at two Intrust Super Cup matches this weekend.

The Anzac weekend will see two Round 8 matches taking place at the regional centres of Hervey Bay and Yeppoon. More details on each event are listed below:

Fraser Coast Kick Off Club (Stafford Park, Hervey Bay on Saturday, April 23)

The Hervey Bay Seagulls will host the Sunshine Coast Falcons v Ipswich Jets at 6.30pm, but there’s plenty to enjoy at the ground in the lead-up to the big game.

The Men of League Foundation will be at the ground from 12pm with players, coaches and administrators dropping by the marquee throughout the day.

Ipswich Jets coaches Ben Walker and Shane Walker and representatives from the Melbourne Storm are just some of the people who will be at the marquee to have a chat to fans, along with former professional rugby league player and Chairman of the Queensland Board of the Men of League Foundation, Darryl Van De Velde.

Men of League in Yeppoon (Webb Park on Saturday, April 23)

To celebrate the Intrust Super Cup coming to town, the Yeppoon Seagulls will play the Fitzroys in three grades before the CQ Capras take on Souths Logan Magpies.

Join the Yeppoon Seagulls and the rugby league fraternity for a great day of action on the field and the opportunity to help the charity that cares for the men, women and children of the rugby league community.

There will be two levels of entry on offer for the event - $10 for entry only or the $20 Men of League package, which includes three beers.

Existing Men of League members who attend and register at the Men of League marquee will go in the draw for a $100 Beaches Bistro Voucher courtesy of Ross & Judy O’Reilly and any new members who sign up on the day have the opportunity to win a "Free Vehicle General Service" thanks to CK Motors of Burnett St Yeppoon.
