South East Queensland Division will host an Emerging Women’s player camp this weekend for some of the region’s top female playing talent.

The camp will be held at the Runaway Bay Sports Centre from May 20 to May 22, with 35 players selected to be involved in the program.

This free camp will see participants take part in activities such as strength training and nutrition, welfare and social media presentations.

Following this camp – the SEQ Division will announce their representative squad which will participate in this year’s QRL State Carnival being held on Southport from June 3 to June 5.

(Note: this representative team will contain current Queensland and Australian team members who will not be involved in this camp.)

The SEQ’s Emerging Players program aims to provide players with an opportunity to further develop their skills with access to specialised coaching and education sessions.

The SEQ Girls squads will also be taking part in a camp this weekend – find out more here.
