Jupiters Gold Coast
Broadbeach Island, Broadbeach (07) 5592 8100
Where else would you prefer to be than the official home of our Mighty XXXX Maroons! This is just like going to Game I in Sydney but better, and here's why: “Jupes” is still in QLD, the venue is cool-as, there are beanbags and a giant outdoor 7x4-metre screen, an appearance from Maroons great Mat Rogers, cheerleaders, half-time entertainment - and did we mention beanbags? See every second of battle while feasting on the Mighty Maroon Menu - the QLD steak burger is the shiz - then have a crack at winning the ultimate man chair (complete with built-in esky, stubbie-holder, Bluetooth and more). Jupiters, we salute you!

69 Brighton Rd, Sandgate  (07) 3269 2496
Who says you have to hit the Valley for your cool bar fix? Brisbane's northsiders are loving this New York-style bar set two blocks from the water on the northern bayside. Mr H (as locals call it) marries an international range of beers and wine (as well as local faves) with top service and food trucks that pull up next to the rear beer garden most nights. For Origin I, a hot wings truck is on the menu, as well as a screen so big you need to use the back entrance (yes, seriously). Together with the top-class audio, and seriously relaxed crowd, this is one of the best sport viewing experiences on Brisbane's northside.

64 James St, New Farm  (07) 3358 2799
Formerly known as the Queens Arms, the QA is an inner-city institution on James St where you’ll see gorgeous 20-somethings mingling with rusted-on locals enjoying plenty of big screens, a range of ice-cold XXXX on tap, top-line pub food or grab a $5 hotdog. Sit in the sports bar with the UBet kiosks and beers at your fingertips or sit in the restaurant and enjoy a cracking wine from their impressive list within view of one of many big screens. Open late, you can stay on and celebrate a big win with plenty of other Maroons fans who don’t mind a sneaky Wednesday session!

Top of Queen Street Mall, Brisbane (07) 3306 8888
Watch the mighty Maroons smash the Blues with a couple of thousand of your closest fanatical friends at Treasury’s Maroon Kingdom. With one of the biggest screens in Brisbane, no vision issues and top-notch audio, you won’t miss a thing - unless you’re getting your entry in for a shot at winning the ultimate Maroon Throne (built-in fridge and Bluetooth speakers and worth $7500, thanks very much), hanging out with Former Origin Great Scott Prince or grabbing any number of Maroons giveaways and promotions from 5pm-7pm.

Lvl 1, Cnr Black and Paten Sts, Milton (07) 3361 7597
There’s no better place to watch the mighty XXXX Queensland Maroons than on the big screen at the iconic Brisbane institution, the XXXX Brewery. At the Alehouse, get through the beer range and don't forget the XXXX "off the wood", along with a new menu full of fresh Queensland produce – think grain-fed sirloin or beer-battered fish. Get organised and get there early and jump on one of the brewery’s famed tours to see how your favourite cold one is created. Then the best part – a guided beer tasting session and you’ll learn how to pour the perfect beer (as if you didn't know!).

320 Boundary St, Spring Hill (07) 3839 0169
The Alliance Hotel is a beautiful old-school pub with an award-winning menu that would make any boutique venue in Melbourne or New York envious. Grab a mate for some Fraser Island spanner crab and chicken crackling sandwich starters, some Clare Valley eye fillets and a bottle of red in the bistro or head to the front bar for a XXXX Gold with a few pulled pork toasted sangers. There are TVs everywhere, a cozy atmosphere and the owner “Gorko” is a renowned entertainer (especially if Queensland bring home a win!).

41 Agincourt Street, Grange  (07) 3856 2688
Former home to old-school league clubs Brisbane Brothers and The Crushers and now also to Brothers FC and Brisbane Bandits, this is a suburban club like no other. With large dining area, sports bar and kids' room, this is the place to take the family to enjoy Origin in Brisbane’s north. Plenty of TVs and comfy viewing, they really bring the warm atmosphere out with a new winter menu that launches the night of Game I. To top it off, two-for-one pizzas are on offer to make this a no-brainer!

71-73 Melbourne St, South Brisbane (07) 3844 2883
So many choices! Do you have a charcoal-grilled share platter on Dandy’s Rooftop, a lamb shank pie in Fish Lane Bistro or nachos in the Long Bar?Wherever you are at South Brisbane’s Fox Hotel, you'll have plenty of big screens to see the action. This epic old pub close to South Bank has undergone an incredible reno and offers so many options. Get there on game night for Origin I and enjoy a huge range of cocktails and beers, and celebrate a win with a smile on your face.

296 Ruthven St, Toowoomba (07) 4639 3264
You don’t go to Toowoomba and not go to The Spotted Cow – fullstop! Usually a spot for awesome live music in the west (British India & Thelma Plum are coming in June), it's also a top spot for awesome food to go with it. Grab a bucket of creamy garlic St Germain Mussels with warm, dunking Turkish bread and wash it down with one of the many craft beers on offer. With seven (yep, seven) HD big screens in the venue, grab a feed and see every minute of the mighty XXXX Queensland Maroons dominating the Blues.

125 Goondoon St, Gladstone (07) 4972 6615
The Maroons are visiting Gladstone on June 14 this year for the Regional Fan Day as a warm-up for Game II, so we need to highlight where the locals can warm up for Game I! The Queens Hotel is a pub in Gladstone where footy fans can get the job done. Simple pub life here - cold beers (tick), pool table (tick), pub food (tick), footy on the TV (tick). You can kick on long into the night at The Queens with some karaoke, and if the night gets away from you there is comfortable accommodation on hand.
