The annual Women in League round celebrates the contribution made by women to rugby league, whether it’s as administrators, players, coaches, employees, volunteers or club members.

Burleigh Bears player Tazmin Gray is one of those women and QRL TV followed her journey in the Queensland Women’s representative camp this year to find out more about what it takes to get to the top in the Women’s game.

Growing up in a household with six brothers who all played football – including Jordan Rapana who is currently having a fantastic season with the Canberra Raiders – rugby league has always been in her blood.

Juggling work, playing and the pressures of being a new mother – Tazmin has had great family support behind her to help achieve her dreams on the field.

Having now worked her way into the Queensland Women’s representative team, she will continue to work hard on achieving her ultimate goal of playing for the Australian Jillaroos.

Watch the QRL TV special feature that charts Tazmin’s journey during the week leading up to the recent Women’s Interstate Challenge game.
