The Mackay Cutters are seeking a new Mackay business to take naming rights sponsorship of the club going into the future.
Club CEO Troy Rovelli said exciting changes were planned for next season; however, without the support of a naming rights sponsor, operating a semi-professional sporting club is difficult.
“We are a not-for-profit organisation and our club reaches the community all the way from our academy and junior development programs,” Mr Rovelli said.
“It also enables and encourages our next generation of stars a pathway from the Cutters to the Cowboys.

“We have some great changes for 2017. Steve Sheppard will commence as head coach in October and former State of Origin and Cowboys player Josh Hannay has been appointed as the Cutters representative in his new role as Cowboys assistant coach.
“This will now give us an unprecedented direct link to the Cowboys and their playing roster.”
