Central Crows rep staff named

The Central Crows have finalised all appointments for their 2017 representative programs. 

Heading the list is former State of Origin player Alan McIndoe who will take charge of the Central Crows Open Women’s side. 

McIndoe has been an integral part of developing the female game in the Central Highlands where there is a strong five-team local competition. He was also the Women’s assistant coach as part of last year’s program.

Although this was not a planned move; for the first time, the Under 16 Girls team will be directed by an all-female staff. 

“In all cases we have appointed the best people suited to the job,” Central Division Manager Glenn Ottaway said of the appointments.

“It is a pleasing sign for the game we have women not only with the confidence to apply for leading positions within the Division, but also with the necessary skills and experience to get the job done.”
