Delegates who register to attend the QRL Leadership Conference before January 6 will go into the running to win some fantastic Origin prizes.

Simply complete your registration before the above date and you will go into the draw to win one of the following three prizes as part of the QRL’s ‘early bird special’:

• A signed XXXX Queensland Maroons State of Origin jersey.

• Two tickets to either Game I or III of the Holden State of Origin series at Suncorp Stadium.

• A one-hour training session run by Maroons coach Kevin Walters at your club.

The revamped 2017 QRL Leadership Conference aims to engage with female participants and provide support for the game’s volunteer network.

Formerly known as the QRL Admin Conference, the event is expected to bring more than 400 participants to the Novotel Twin Waters Resort on the Sunshine Coast from February 10-12.

The Conference will bring together an outstanding group of speakers, presenters and tradeshow exhibitors.

Fresh from the success of the inaugural Women’s Leadership Seminar nearly two years ago, this immensely popular component of the Conference will return bigger and better on the opening day of the conference.

4KQ Radio personality Laurel Edwards will host the Women’s Seminar on the opening day of the Conference, with the speakers to be announced in upcoming weeks.

The event aims to generate healthy discussion in line with the QRL’s ambition to elevate the participation of women in positions of leadership within all sports.

Following the women’s seminar, the Conference will revert to its traditional format over the course of the weekend with topics to include Strategic Planning, Volunteer and Player Retention, Diversity, Grants / Business Planning, Social Media and Mental Health.
