Rising star Ashley Taylor spoke to QRL Media after spending time at this year’s QAS Emerging Origin Camp.
The Gold Coast Titans halfback said he enjoyed the camp and getting to know the other players selected in the squad - including new Titans team-mate Jarrod Wallace.
While the camp was more about learning about the Maroons culture and speaking with members of the Queensland staff including head coach Kevin Walters, the players also spent time testing themselves with some competitive beach drills (see the photo of Team Yellow below).
The Toowoomba Brothers junior also had some advice for young players coming up through the ranks in regional areas, having grown up playing league on the Darling Downs.
