The State of Origin dream of Queensland debutant Jarrod Wallace remains on track.

The Gold Coast Titans forward has tonight been found Not Guilty of a Grade One shoulder charge and is free to play in State of Origin for the Maroons next Wednesday night.

Wallace faced a two-match ban after he was charged following Saturday's hit on the Warriors' Blake Ayshford in Gold Coast's 34-12 loss.

XXXX Queensland Maroons coach Kevin Walters was pleased to have heard the verdict come through.

"(It is) extremely good news for Jarrod, you’d hate to think that he would miss a game of this importance and significance.

"I am pleased the judiciary got it right and Jarrod is now free to play, which is very exciting for us."

Walters was looking forward to seeing what Wallace would bring to the team.

"His stats in club-land are as good as any prop in the game, his metres, his straight defensively – also a young body and young legs It’s now a great opportunity for him to make his mark in Sydney," Walters said.

“(The news is a) great lift for the team.”
