In the lead-up to their recent Interstate Challenge match, the Harvey Norman Queensland Women’s team took part in a huge girls-only clinic at the home of the Beenleigh Lions on Thursday, July 20.

There were almost 300 young female players involved in the first-of-its-kind event, which saw aspiring Queensland Women's and Jillaroos representatives learn new skills and take part in training drills led by NRL Development staff and all members of the Queensland Women's team.

The representative players had a great time sharing their knowledge with the young players – and they also proved popular at the autograph tents after the clinic.

Female participation continues to drive the growth of the game and it was great to see so many rising talents getting involved to further their skills.
