XXXX Queensland Maroons and Melbourne Storm captain Cameron Smith has moved up to third on the list of most points scored in premiership history.

The Storm skipper slotted four goals in Saturday night’s win over the Roosters to take his career tally to 2,115 career points.

That number saw him surpass Jason Taylor on the all-time list of NRL points scored.

Smith now sits behind only Andrew Johns (2,176) and Hazem El Masri (2,418).

He will get the chance to add to his tally this Saturday afternoon when Storm travel to Newcastle to take on the Knights.
