Easts Tigers halfback Brodie Croft will likely miss the remainder of the season.

Brodie Croft will likely miss the remainder of the 2017 season after injuring his hamstring.

The young halfback suffered the injury whilst attempting to score a try for feeder side Easts Tigers during their Elimination Final win over the Townsville Blackhawks on Sunday.

Croft underwent scans on Monday morning that confirmed a Grade 2 strain, meaning he is very unlikely to play again this year.

The 19-year-old has played four NRL games in 2017 and provided Melbourne Storm fans with an exciting glimpse of the future.

Croft's match-winning field goal in the NRL Round 15 clash against the Cowboys remains one of the highlights of the season.

In July he re-signed with the Club to remain in Melbourne until at least the end of the 2020 season.
