Fiji Bati coach Mick Potter and captain Kevin Naiqama said they had high hopes for their team when the Rugby League World Cup kicks off this weekend.
“We haven't come here to make up the numbers, we have come here to do the job,” Potter told the gathered media at Sunday’s Rugby League World Cup media launch in Brisbane.
Proud skipper Naiqama said it meant a lot to the players to represent the people of Fiji; a place where the game of rugby league continues to grow.
