We are currently experiencing unprecedented interest in female rugby league.
From participation numbers to television ratings and media coverage, female rugby league is booming.
The challenge for us now is to provide equal opportunity for females across the game.
For the first time, the Queensland Rugby League has put in place the Female Strategy, outlining our core development pillars that have been recognised as critically important in achieving our overarching goal to grow female participation at all levels of the game.
This strategic plan has been designed to provide each of our core business units with key drivers over the next three years to increase participation and commercial engagement of the female game.
Queensland Rugby League respects and honours the Traditional Custodians of the land and pay our respects to their Elders past, present and future. We acknowledge the stories, traditions and living cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples on the lands we meet, gather and play on.
