THIS past weekend (August 3) saw three great games in the Brisbane and District Women's Rugby League competition.

In Division 1; Beerwah executed their ever-improving game plan to defeat Logan Brothers with a massive score of 46-6.

Souths Logan gained a win, with an unfortunate forfeit by Burleigh.

In Division 2; the Swifts, even with many of their players out, managed to cross over the line three times against Aspley; however, once again Aspley proved too strong, defeating the Swifts 62-18.

Carina edged even further out into second place after defeating Deception Bay 32-4.

Wests Inala and Wynnum Manly both gained 2 points with the byes for the round.

This weekend (August 10) will see the biggest rivalry game in Division 2, when Aspley venture down to Leo Williams Oval to take on Carina at 1.30pm.

The last time these two teams crossed paths, Aspley only just managed to come out on top after an exciting and on the edge of your seat game with the final score 20-14.

The other game for Division 2 will see Deception Bay against Wynnum Manly at Kitchener Park at 1.30pm. The Swifts will have the bye.

In Division 2, a much-anticipated game between Souths Logan and Beerwah will be played at Davies Park at 4.30pm.
