CHANGES are underfoot for next years Rhys Wesser Dream, Believe, Achieve Super 9s Shield being held in Rockhampton.

While it will again be staged at Victoria Park; the carnival dates will be on Friday and Saturday, April 11-12 (in the school holidays); a change from the past two years where it has been a Thursday-Friday event.

All children who participate will be provided with food and drink on the Friday afternoon/evening and once again, raffles will be held to help raise funds for Camp Quality and Cancer Council Queensland.

In the past two years, the carnival has assisted in raising more than $800 for the charity partners.

The organisers are hoping to hold the Camp Quality touch football game again next year after wet weather caused it to be cancelled before the main final this year.

The carnival has had great support in the first two years, with teams travelling from Sarina, Dysart/ Middlemount, Biloela, Mackay, Childers, Gladstone and Mackay regions, as well as the Rockhampton and Capricorn Coast sides.

More information about the Rhys Wesser Dream, Believe, Achieve Super 9s Shield will be available in January next year.
