THE Queensland Referees Academy have announced the referees appointments for the upcoming rounds of competition.
Nick Morel will take change of the first game to be played in Papau New Guinea this year for the Hunters v Mackay Cutters game at Kalabond Oval in Kokopo.
It is also first round of the NRL, making it a busy weekend of rugby league.
