SO it's grand final time; a terrific time of the year. I'd like to wish both the Pride and the Tigers all the best for what should be a great decider.
The finals series has been terrific. The atmosphere at Langlands Park was amazing last Sunday and it is a credit to both the Tigers and Seagulls fans who turned the preliminary final into a great occasion.
The action on the field has been amazing right throughout the year from all the teams involved in this competition.

FOR a challenge, I thought this week I'd put together my 2014 Intrust Super Cup team of the year.
This will be a team that I'm sure we've all got our own opinions on. So if you disagree with me, why not sit down and put your own side together!
Here we go!
1. Daniel Ogden (Wynnum Manly Seagulls)
2. Garry Lo (PNG Hunters)
3. Mitchell Buckett (Wynnum Manly Seagulls)
4. Davin Crampton (Northern Pride)
5. Jarrod McInally (Easts Tigers)
6. Shaun Nona (Northern Pride)
7. Cody Walker (Easts Tigers)
8. Luke Page (Souths Logan Magpies)
9. Jake Granville (Wynnum Manly Seagulls)
10. Rod Griffin (Ipswich Jets)
11. Blake Leary (Northern Pride)
12. Keiron Lander (Ipswich Jets)
13. Mitchell Frei (Wynnum Manly Seagulls)
Interchange
14. Marmin Barba (Ipswich Jets)
15. Tom Kingston (Tweed Heads Seagulls)
16. Felise Kaufusi (Easts Tigers)
17. Ben Spina (Northern Pride)
That's my crack at putting together a team of the year. It was easier said than done! Some very good players have been left out!

FINALLY, since we are at the end of the season I’d like to thank all the fans for supporting what is a great competition. To my Channel 9 colleagues Mathew Thompson and Scott Sattler I'd like to say thanks for a great year and we all look forward to being back in 2015 for what should be another great year.
Also – to the coaches, players and support staff at all of the clubs I say thank you for the hard work you've all put in during the year. It's been a terrific season and you should all be very proud.
The Intrust Super Cup has been great this year in helping celebrate the Greatest Game of All.
