With kick-off to the major competitions just around the corner - this weekend is the last chance for a number of coaches to test out new plays and combinations during the trial matches.

Up north, the Pride will host the North Queensland Cowboys NYC team, while at Bishop Park, Norths Devils will play the Brisbane Broncos NYC in another big match on Saturday evening.

During the day however, the Ipswich Jets are looking forward to a big crowd coming to cheer them on when they take on both the Tweed Heads Seagulls and PNG Hunters at North Ipswich Reserve. 

With the Cyril Connell Cup and Mal Meninga Cup competitions kicking off next weekend - there will be no trials for these age groups this weekend.
