The Rockhampton and District Junior Rugby League competition will recommence this weekend.

Most of the round will be played Friday night due to Anzac Day and senior football being played over the remainder of the weekend.

With only three rounds remaining before the finals, teams are now looking at cementing spots in the top 4.

The points listed below do not include the Round 2 clashes that were postponed by Cyclone Marcia, so some teams have only played five games and not six.

Also, our Mini Mod teams take to the fields this Sunday morning. We wish all new players the best and most of all, we would like them to have a fun time learning the skills of rugby league and making new friends.

Update:

Under 13: Norths hold top spot on 10 points followed by Emu Park Yeppoon and Tigers on 8 points. Brothers Blue and White next on 4 points and will need to win their remaining three games to have any chance of making the top 4. Emu Park, Yeppoon and Tigers have a game in hand.

Under 14: Fitzroys are on 10 points followed by Emu Park on 8 both have a game in hand Norths and Brothers white are also on 8 points, Cap Coast and Yeppoon are both on 4 points with a game in hand as well, this age group will go to the last round to decide the top 4.

Under 15: Brothers Blue are on 10 points followed by Brothers White on 8. Cap Coast are also on 8 points with a game in hand. Norths on 6, Emu Park and Gracemere are on 4 with Emu Park having a game in hand. This is another age group that could go down to the wire for a final top 4 spot.

Under 16: Brothers and Yeppoon hold top spot on 9 points followed by Cap Coast on 8 Norths and Fitzroy's follow on 4 points. As this age group has byes, Cap Coast have 2 in hand. Brothers and Norths having one remaining. This age group will be decided in the final round to see who fills all four of the top positions.

Under 18: Gracemere Yeppoon and Cap Coast all sit on 6 points and all have a game in hand. Norths and Emu Park have 5 points with Emu Park having the game in hand and Brothers have 4 points. Again, this age group is too close to call with all sides still without their Capras players who have their semi-final against the East Tigers this Saturday.
