In a first for the QRL’s Major Competitions, fans will be able to access instant data and live scores as matches unfold in the Intrust Super Cup, FOGS Colts Challenge, Mal Meninga Cup and Cyril Connell Cup in 2016.

The match day programme has been brought online and is now called QRL Live. Live data will be integrated with related stories and columns, replacing the printed programme this year.

“Essentially, we’ll be bringing the match day programme experience online by connecting a live scoring system at the ground with our QRL Live website,” QRL Head of Digital Jason Davis said.

The site will launch in time for the start of this year's Intrust Super Cup. Fans will simply go to live.qrl.com.au on any device to view:

  • Live scores
  • Up-to-the-minute team lists
  • Live interchange updates
  • Score breakdowns

With access to real-time information on all major competition games, as well as many representative games, the online initiative aims to enhance the game day experience for fans both at the ground and at home.

Keep an eye on qrl.com.au for more details soon.
