The Romano Group Tweed Heads Seagulls are thrilled to announce that after a long and exhaustive selection process, former Gold Coast Titans General Manager of Football Scott Clark will take on the role of CEO following the recent departure of Shaun McRae.
Clark has nearly two decades of experience in rugby league administration and management having been a former CEO of the Burleigh Bears and Operations Manager and then General Manager of the Gold Coast Titans.
Tweed Heads Seagulls Chairman Ian Paton said this is a very exciting announcement for the club.
“Scott brings with him a wealth of strategic planning, management and operational experience in the rugby league club environment,” he said.
“To sign someone of his calibre is very exciting in terms of the future direction of the club and speaks to the strength of the Seagulls brand.”
Clark, a Gold Coast local, is looking forward to the opportunity of working for the Tweed Heads Seagulls, which is the oldest provincial rugby league club in Australia.
“I'm really excited about this opportunity to work with such a strong, community-minded club,” he said.
“Seagulls have a celebrated history and I look forward to working with the Board, coaching staff, sponsors, QRL and other stakeholders to build on the good work undertaken by Shaun McRae.”
Clark’s contract with the Seagulls officially begins today (October 17).
