Footy is back! Well, almost.

As well as the NRL Auckland Nines kicking off on Saturday – a number of Intrust Super Cup clubs will be starting their preparations for the season ahead with trial games.

Games will be played across the state and beyond, with the Tweed Heads Seagulls to host the Newcastle Knights at Murwillumbah on Saturday, February 4 at 4pm Queensland time (5pm NSW).

There are full days of rugby league happening across the state, with Mal Meninga Cup, Under 20 FOGS Cup, Brisbane Rugby League, NYC and NRL games being played as well as Intrust Super Cup clashes.

Venues such as Greenbank (Souths Logan Magpies v Ipswich Jets), Suzuki Stadium (Easts Tigers v Burleigh Bears / Gold Coast Titans v Melbourne Storm), BB Print Stadium Mackay (Mackay v Townsville / Mackay All Stars), Bishop Park (Norths Devils v Wynnum Manly) and Dolphin Oval (Redcliffe Dolphins v Sunshine Coast Falcons / Brisbane Broncos v Cronulla Sharks) are set to offer rugby league fans a get chance to get their footy fix.
