There were plenty of familiar faces at the recent XXXX Queensland Maroons Regional Fan Day presented by Suncorp including Women's Rugby League superstar Renae Kunst.

Recently appointed as the NRL’s Regional Game Development Manager for North Queensland; Kunst chatted to QRL Media about the fan day, the growth of rugby league in the region and her preparations to play for the Harvey Norman Queensland Women's team in the upcoming Interstate Challenge.

Speaking to QRL Media before this past weekend's Queensland Women's team pre-camp, the Jillaroos representative also confirmed her plans to hang up the playing boots at the end of the year in a season which she hopes will culminate in a successful Rugby League World Cup campaign.

Stay tuned to QRL.com.au for more news on Women's Rugby League - including the upcoming Interstate Challenge where Queensland and NSW will face off for the Nellie Doherty Cup.
