18th man Cameron Munster has joined a Maroons squad packed with his Melbourne Storm teammates.

The 22-year-old from Rockhampton tells QRL Media he's learned a lot from Storm and Queensland stars Cameron Smith, Cooper Cronk and Billy Slater since joining Melbourne.

The back says he played his first match at the CQ Capras with new Maroon forward Tim Glasby, who's also at the Storm now. Munster says the Intrust Super Cup is a great pathway to the NRL.

The XXXX Queensland Maroons play the NSW Blues tonight (Wednesday, June 21) in Sydney in Game II of State of Origin. The Blues won Game I of the three-match series in Brisbane last month.
