Two of the key forwards for the PNG Hunters – brothers Wellington Albert and Stanton Albert – have an extra reason to look forward to tomorrow’s Intrust Super Championship game against Penrith Panthers.

The prop forwards spent the last few seasons with the NSW club, only returning to PNG this year to help guide the team to Intrust Super Cup success.

Speaking to QRL Media following the captain’s run; the brothers said they had been enjoying the experience of winning the Queensland competition which earned them a return trip to Sydney.

While they will be rivals on the field for the game at ANZ Stadium tomorrow; the siblings said they would be seeking out their former friends after the game to share stories.

Off camera, the brothers were keen to stress how thankful they were for their time with the Penrith Panthers club, with Wellington saying he had learned a lot from the staff at the club.

Tomorrow’s match will be broadcast live on Channel 9 from 2.40pm (QLD time) and you can also follow the scoring details via QRL Live.
