There have bee 11 clubs nominate 17 trainers whose dedication to their side has been exceptional.

Comments about the nominees show the range of values rugby league instils in North Queensland, from loyalty and commitment to junior rugby league, to exceptional sports training which gets the best form aspiring stars.

The most exceptional aspect of all of these trainers is that they volunteer their weekends and afternoons to assist in junior rugby league.

Three winners were selected:

Helen Cooper of Southern Suburbs Cairns, Peter Cox from Western Lions Townsville (pictured), and Tim Beutel from Southern Suburbs Mackay.
