Intrust Super Cup Finals Week 3 STATS

With everything going on the line for the Burleigh Bears and Easts Tigers in their elimination final last Saturday – the players from both teams stepped up to make sure they knew they had given everything they had in order to press for a grand final berth.

The Tigers had too many points for the Bears and ended their season with their 36-26 win; with Easts now looking forward to their showdown with Redcliffe at Suncorp Stadium this Sunday, September 23.

In a beaten team – Pat Politoni put in an Intrust Super Cup Hooker of the Year worthy performance making a game-high 44 tackles, nearly double the next highest – 29 from both fellow Bears Hayden Schwass and Sam Coster.

Easts wrecking ball centre Marion Seve again topped the metre count; making 225 in a huge effort from 15 runs.

The next highest was 192 from Hastings Deering Man of the Match Albert Vete from 16 runs.
