Grand final teams locked in

Norths Devils and Wynnum Manly Seagulls have qualified for next Sunday’s Intrust Super Cup grand final at Moreton Daily Stadium after convincing preliminary final victories today.

The Seagulls were the first team through to the premiership decider after posting seven tries to three in their 40-18 win against Tweed.

Delouise Hoeter starred with three tries, while Petero Civoniceva medallist Jayden Berrell notched a double in the big win at Suncorp Stadium.

As Seagulls fans celebrated, the Devils took the field for their clash against the Burleigh Bears.

And the minor premiership-winning Devils didn’t disappoint their own supporters, racing out of the blocks to lead 20-0.

Hooker Dani Levi was a constant threat as the Devils went on with the job to confirm their grand final spot with a strong 34-16 result against the gallant Bears.

With both the Seagulls and Devils peaking at the right end of the season, the stage is set for an epic contest next Sunday.
