16-18 years

Around 15 years of age players may decide to increase the time and effort they direct towards their rugby league.
The statewide competitions for men and women between the ages of 16 and 18 provide the platform for players to develop their skills and to be recognised by club recruiters as they test themselves against peers from across Queensland.
Pathway competitions listed are governed by the QRLs statewide competitions team and clubs collaborate with the QRL’s pathway and performance unit to ensure players and coaches are able to access best practice performance support.
