A favourite son will return to Tweed Heads next season, with Damien Sironen heading the list gains for the Seagulls in season 2017.

The forward comes back to the club following a successful 2016 which saw his team the Illawarra Cutters claim the Intrust Super Premiership on NRL grand final day.

His arrival will soften the blow of the departure of Seagulls Player of the Year Will Bugden who has left the club to pursue an opportunity up north with the Northern Pride.

Another signing who is no stranger to the Gold Coast region is Lamar Liolevave from the Bulldogs who spent his younger years with Keebra Park.
