CONGRATULATIONS to the latest winners of the XXXX Club of the Week weekly prize – Bulimba Valleys!
The Brisbane club were nominated by club secretary Joanne Harden and as a weekly winner, will receive some great prizes including XXXX merchandise and a ball signed by the victorious Queensland State of Origin team from Game 3, 2014.
All winning entries will also go in the draw to win the grand final prize of $5000 worth of food, beverage and entertainment for an end of season function at your club.
The overall XXXX Club of the Week winner for this year will be announced on Friday, October 17. Keep an eye on the QRL website www.qrl.com.au for the news.

Bulimba Valleys deserve to be XXXX Club of the Week for the following reasons.
This year, Bulimba Valleys Rugby League Football Club achieved great things.
Two teams Open 1 and Open 3 performed well throughout the year in their competitions. After the first eight rounds, Open 3 were sitting near the bottom of the ladder, but played some gutsy football to go on and make the grand final, only to be beaten on the bell.
The Open 1 team won the Ted Beaumont Trophy and were also minor premiers and grand final winners.
Bulimba had four players represent Brisbane and had two players up for nomination for Player of the Year in Southside 1 and Southside 3.
Not many clubs can say they have won 3 minor premierships, 3 Ted Beaumont Trophy honours and 3 premierships in a row, which is incredible for a club that survives on limited resources and pure guts and pride.
The Open 1 team has only been beaten four times in two years and are undefeated at our home ground in three years.
A self-funded club, we have no juniors and rely on the support of our sponsors.
This year saw Bulimba celebrate our Old Boys day. It was a a great day with money raised being donated to the Cancer Council.
Overall, it was a fantastic year right across the club.
The team camaraderie at Bulimba is second to none. The players support each other both on the field and off the field.
