Biography

Logan Brothers junior Corey Allen signed with the Brisbane Broncos in 2017, and represented the Junior Kangaroos against the Junior Kiwis in Canberra, scoring a try in Australia's 46-22 win.

Allan made a name for himself playing for Broncos' affiliate, Souths Logan Magpies in the Intrust Super Cup, and went on to make history when he became the first player to represent the Prime Minister’s XIII before having made his NRL debut. He played fullback in the PM side's 34-18 win over a Papua New Guinea Prime Minister's XIII in Port Moresby in 2018.

The versatile outside back signed with South Sydney Rabbitohs in 2019, and made his debut in Round 1, against the Sydney Roosters, coming off the bench in the South Sydney's 26-16 win.

Straight away my heart was pounding like it was game day. I was pretty excited.

Allan’s versatility became evident when he filled in at fullback for the Rabbitohs in 2020 after Latrell Mitchel succumbed to a hamstring injury. Allan was rewarded for his form, with selection in the Maroons squad for the 2020 State of Origin series, making his debut at fullback in the Game III decider at Suncorp Stadium, despite having played only 29 NRL games.

Allan credited injured Rabbitohs and NSW star, Mitchell for helping him with the finer points of fullback play.

Allan signed a two-year deal with Canterbury-Bankstown, starting in 2021. Going into the 2022 season, Allan had played 47 NRL games.
