FORMER Souths Logan premiership-winning star Mathew Templeman will lead the XXXX Rangers into battle against the NSW Ron Massey Cup representative team at Lismore on Friday night.
Templeman, a try-scorer for Souths Logan in their 2008 grand final win over Ipswich, now plays with Brothers in the Bundaberg competition.
Supporting the experienced centre in a leadership role is classy North Queensland halfback Mitch Seri, the teams vice-captain.
Rangers coach Paul Lowe said his charges had trained strongly this week at Royal Pines on the Gold Coast.
Theyre really keen, Lowe said.
Theyve really enjoyed the week so far. Obviously the focus is on the performance on Friday.
