XXXX Club of the Week: Mudgeeraba Redbacks

(The Redbacks play in the Powrgard Second Division competition on the Gold Coast)
At the Redbacks we pride ourselves on mateship. We started training back in November last year and the culture we have bred into our club and players is all about pride in the jersey. We play for each other and always go the extra mile. We believe in ourselves and we believe in us as a team.
The dedication and commitment that our team shows on and off the field is second to none. This has been displayed through our McGrath Foundation charity event (see below), off and on season fundraising and also the extra work that some of the players put into the junior development of our 400 strong kids in the Mudgeeraba Redbacks junior rugby league.
This is a proud club to be involved with and is also so welcoming to all new players.
Achievements: This year we just secured the minor premiership and played in the major semi-final on July 27 against Beaudesert. The club have secured the minor premiership the last three years in a row and haven't been able to claim the prize due to injuries at the wrong time of the year.
Community Involvement: This year was the first year that we participated in the McGrath Foundation Pull on Your Socks campaign wearing pink socks and special pink jerseys and also raising more than $2000 for the charity on the day.
