XXXX Queensland Maroons coach Mal Meninga and halfback Cooper Cronk are in line for top gongs at the 19th Annual Queensland Sport Awards.
Meninga has been nominated for Queensland Sport Coach of the Year, while Cronk is one of 10 high-profile athletes in the running for the Queensland Sport Star of the Year.
The winners will be announced on December 2 at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.
After winning an eighth-straight Origin series in July, the XXXX Maroons are one of the leading fancies for the Queensland Sport Team of the Year.
But the Maroons will face some stiff opposition, with the Brisbane Heat (Cricket) and Queensland Firebirds (Netball) among the other contenders.
State of Origin Two at Brisbanes Suncorp Stadium is also a finalist for the Queensland Sport Event of the Year.
